KC's Corral is a cowboy action shooting club located in Mechanicsville Virginia.
We shoot monthly at the
Black Creek Shooters Association gun club.
Range Set-Up begins at 8:30. Range opens at 9:00am. Registration opens at 9:00 and closes at 9:30. The MANDATORY Shooter’s Meeting begins at 9:30.
Shooting fees are $15 per shooter ($10 if a Black Creek member/$5 for family members). Yearly dues to join Black Creek are $100. If you join Black Creek, you will save $60 a year or more if your spouse shoots!
To shoot a Cowboy Action Match at K.C’s Corral, all shooters must have observed at least one other Cowboy Action match or be sponsored by an experienced shooter who will vouch that you are familiar with Cowboy Action safety rules and that you will handle firearms safely.

We follow all SASS rules with the addition of the following:
1. Any rifle or pistol round over the berm is a MATCH DISQUALIFICATION (Match DQ).
2. All observers/visitors must sign a Waiver Form and have it on file.
3. For matches when the Wild Bunch (WB) Category is allowed (only a couple times a year – announced in advance), these WB requirements will apply for the category – then the requirements.

KC's Corral was founded in May 2000 by Robert Troxell (alias VIRGINIA JAKE, SASS #14400) of Mechanicsville, VA and Joseph A. Johnson (alias CRUSTY JOE, SASS #30691) of Sandston, VA.
